We offer a great atmosphere for you to enjoy dinner with family or friends. The children can be kept  entertained in our Little Tackers Room which features 3 x games stations while you enjoy the beautiful golf course surroundings.

There is always a blackboard special with delicious options available as well.

"The View" Coffee Shop

We have a great women's golf program run by Golf Profressional, Janine Barney, with the aim to continue to grow the sport for women.

For those wishing to play competitions, we have a dedicated women's competition on Thursdays (the main group tee off between 8-9am), a ladies competition on Saturdays (tee off any time of the day) and open single Stableford competitions every other day.

For women new to the sport, or wanting to improve their skills our weekly ladies only coaching clinics are also here to support you.

Windaroo Lakes offers course access for corporate groups up to 120 players on either:

• Sunday and Monday from 12:00pm
• All day Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

Windaroo Lakes offer a number of different package options and we are able to tailor a corporate package to meet your needs.

Each hole on the course if given a Stroke Index based on the difficulty of the hole, which is shown on the golf card.  This index is then used to allocate additional strokes, to par, based on a player’s handicap. This makes the game equitable for all players. Another major advantage of Stableford is that it’s possible to record a competitive score despite having the occasional bad hole.

How the handicap system works with Stableford Scoring

A handicap of 45 would receive 2 strokes on all holes + an additional 1 stoke on holes indexed 1-9.  If the hole is a Par 4 and indexed 1-9 the adjusted Par is 7. If the hole is a Par 4 and indexed 10-18 the adjusted Par is 6.

A handicap of 10 would receive an additional stroke on holes indexed 1-10 only. This would mean that Par is adjusted by one stroke on those holes.  If the hole is a Par 4 and indexed 1-10 the adjusted Par is 5. If the hole is indexed 11-18 the Par remains 4.

Windaroo Lakes Golf Club – Stroke Index Chart

This chart shows the current Stroke Indexes for Windaroo Lakes (Ladies). You can calculate the adjusted Par for each hole, relevant to your handicap, using this chart. This will enable you to know how many scoring strokes you can play on each hole.  Once a player has played 2 strokes over their adjusted Par, they can pick up as no points can be scored.  (See Stableford Points below)

Scoring

Once the hole has been completed, count the number of strokes taken, then using the adjusted Par figure calculate the Stableford Score, using the list below.

• 3 Under Par (Albatross)    5 points
• 2 Under Par (Eagle)    4 points
• 1 Under Par (Birdie)    3 Points
• Even Par                  2 points
• 1 Over Par (Bogey)    1 point
