Latest News at Windaroo Lakes
A fantastically presented course over 2 days proved in the end to be a stern test for our players.
Day 1 saw blue skies and hardly a breath of wind, perfect for scoring. However, day 2 was a different story, cooler temps and big gusts picking up as the afternoon went on, provided a much tougher test.
With that being the case, it went down to the final few holes in all Divisions and we have now crowned our overall champion as well as our Divisional and Ladies winners.

Congratulations to Brendan Carson and Julie-ann Carson with a great score of 79 to win the Mixed Foursomes Championship over Karen and Jackson Love 81.
Also a mention to our nett winners James and Cheryl Bird with 71 who edged out a couple of our juniors Maddison Clarke and Matthew Conias on 72.
We had a great number of 54 players who braved the format, another great event!
Windaroo Lakes have activated access to the MiScore digital scoring app though to 30 September 2020.
We highly recommend using this app during the COVID-19 crisis to mitigate contact between players, kiosk PCs, and the handling and exchange of scorecards. Physical scorecards will still be available at the club for those who wish to use them. The MiScore App is available for download and allows members and visitors to enter the hole by hole scores during their round rather than using a traditional scorecard.
This scoring app has recently been approved by the R&A and Golf Australia as a method of scoring.
After scoring on the MiScore App, please sign as the marker and include the initials of your playing partner in the ‘player’ box. Please, for the safety of yourself and any playing partners, DO NOT digitally sign each others scorecards, only the scorecard you are responsible for.
In addition to the health implications, the mobile score entry provides a number of features and benefits including:
- Reduction in scorecard printing
- Distance to the middle of the green information via GPS
- Pace of play round timer
Watch the video on MiScore to learn more about the app or download the member instructions. If you have difficulties downloading or utilising the app, please contact the club for assistance.
A huge thank you to all who voted for us in this fun poll on Crazy Golf Deal's Facebook page.
We came up against some stunning courses and we feel very honoured that we have such a strong support system in our members and community.
