Junior Golf Academy Pathway with Australia's National Junior Golf Program
We have created a pathway for Junior golfers to not only have fun but to excel in golf.
Our coaches are skilled, passionate and welcoming and are dedicated to teaching your child the game and taking their knowledge to the next level.
We cater to all levels from brand new to advanced.
ROOKIE - MY GOLF GRASSROOTS PROGRAM
An introduction to all things golf.
Learn to play the game from our Qualified PGA Australia Club Professionals using REAL golf clubs and equipment.
Our 8 week term is sure to engage and excite your budding golfer.
STAR - READY TO PLAY 3 - 6 HOLES
For golfers who have progressed through the Rookie Program and are now participating in 3 and 6 hole junior club events.
With their graduation to Star, they move up a coaching group and now focus on specialised training/learning with our Qualified PGA Australia Coaches.
This is where the real love for golf begins- competing with friends and playing for prizes.
MASTER - READY TO PLAY 9 HOLES
These guys and girls will have graduated from 3-6 hole club competition to now playing 9 holes in our Junior Monthly Medals.
At this stage, they are representing the club in Junior events and participating in Junior Golf Queensland (JGQ) events.
Their coaching is aimed at the skill development required to progress up to our Elite Junior Group.
At this stage, some parents will engage in 1-1 Coaching for their Junior Master.
ELITE - READY TO PLAY 18 HOLES
Windaroo Lakes Junior Elite's are our 18 hole Junior Players. They have specialised, skill improvement focused training sessions with our Qualified PGA Australia coaches.
These juniors play in the adult club competitions and represent the club at both a Junior and Open level.
Some of our juniors through Windaroo Lakes Junior pathways have gone on to play College Golf in America and some have gone on to become Professional Golfer’s themselves.
