The Club Captain of the Windaroo Lakes Veteran Golfers would like to remind all members that the Presentation Day for 2017 is to take place after our golf event on the 4th December 2017.
Members are encouraged to put your name down, not only to play our event on the day but also book your name in for the Christmas dinner afterwards.
We are happy to announce the formation of the Windaroo Lakes Junior Golf Committee.
The committee consists of a group of parents who will work closely with the club's pros in continuing to develop junior golf at Windaroo. The committee aims to provide additional playing opportunities for juniors of all ages.
In other news the addition of the SUNDAY BUZZ has proved popular, we are seeing big numbers and we will be continuing the BUZZ format throughout November.
How the BUZZ works -
BUZZ Explained - All players pay $10 to play - 90% of money given back in vouchers
1st - 30%, 2nd 15%, 3rd 10%, 4B Draw 15% each & Lucky card 15% (must be present for the LUCKY CARD draw) - Pitch Marks
We are starting to gear up for the Windaroo Open, held on Sunday 10th December. The format will be a 120 man field for a 12.30pm shotgun start, Members will be $35 and Visitors $45. This will include prizes in A, B, C grades, junior and overall champion! We will also be having a buffet roast dinner on the completion of the round.
Payment is required on entry and entry is now open for members, please book and pay in the golf shop.
